BIG Executive is recruiting an experienced, discreet and dedicated Live-in Housekeeper / Housekeeper-Cook for a private residence in the Canton of Schwyz, Switzerland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the property to an excellent standard while creating a warm, comfortable and welcoming home for the principal.

The residence

A beautiful detached villa of approximately 750 m², arranged over two floors, featuring five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a swimming pool, gym, garage and a small garden.

The residence is generally occupied by no more than two people.

Separate private accommodation is provided in an apartment on the lower level of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the residence to a consistently high standard of cleanliness, organisation and presentation.
• Undertake daily housekeeping, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas and kitchen.
• Manage laundry, ironing, wardrobe care and regular changes of bed linen.
• Prepare fresh, healthy, home-cooked meals twice daily, including breakfast.
• Plan meals, undertake grocery shopping and manage household supplies.
• Create a welcoming, homely atmosphere, with attention to details such as flowers, candles, fragrances and the overall presentation of the residence.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the swimming pool and gym areas, with technical maintenance handled by external specialists where applicable.
• Monitor household requirements and coordinate with external service providers when necessary.
• Anticipate the principal's preferences and ensure the smooth running of daily household routines.

Working arrangements

This is a live-in position, with separate accommodation provided within the property.

The role requires an early start to prepare breakfast, followed by other household responsibilities. The daily schedule may include a break before later duties and meal preparation.

Candidate profile

• Previous experience in a private household, ideally supporting HNW or UHNW individuals.
• Strong housekeeping, laundry and ironing skills.
• Confident preparing healthy, varied home-cooked meals.
• Excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for creating a comfortable, welcoming home.
• Discreet, trustworthy, organised and able to work independently.
• Flexible and comfortable adapting to the principal's routine.
• Professional, positive and service-oriented attitude.
